Branzini and Dorade from Greece, Tilapia from South America, Halibut from Alaska, Cod from Iceland, Dover Sole from Holland, Tuna from Hawaii and Salmon from all over: The list of fresh seafood that we receive and distribute — about 20-40,000 lbs. a night — is endless.

The keyword, of course, is FRESH. Our goal is to break down and distribute shipments overnight so they reach their destination when the markets open the next day

HOW IT WORKS!

We're a 24-hour business! Once the fish is caught, boxed and sent across the great oceans, our trucks are waiting at the airports to pick them up, refrigerate and send them back on their way to the receiver. All in all, from fish to plate, it's about a 24-hour turnaround time.

Plus, Norman's services are not limited to New York pick-ups and deliveries. We offer full services from Logan International airport in Boston, Philadelphia International airport and Baltimore-Washington International airport.

We also offer refrigerated custom holding for trucks going to destinations that we don't service. And in the last two years, we’ve also become a depot for local producers and shippers who will drop off shipments for us to deliver on to our Northeast destinations.

We have:

  • A 10,000-square foot HAACP warehouse, complete with 2 large coolers, an ice machine and a 24-hour surveillance system, located adjacent to John F. Kennedy airport and a few miles from LaGuardia and Newark
  • Licensed and bilingual office personnel to complete the necessary documentation and processing including US customs and FDA required paperwork
  • Five temperature-controlled trucks to move shipments
